Warranty Statement for Rechargeable Lighting Systems

NiteRider products are engineered for maximum performance and durability. NiteRider warrants its products are free from defects in material and workmanship. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, NiteRider Technical Lighting Systems will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of a rechargeable product that proves defective upon inspection by our repair technicians for reason of improper workmanship or materials. Repair parts or replacement products will be provided by NiteRider on an exchange basis and will be either new or refurbished to be functionally equivalent to new. Under no circumstances will NiteRider be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from defective or non-defective products.
Our warranty does not cover any damage to products, which results from accident, abuse, misuse, natural or personal disaster, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair or modification.
NiteRider distributes its products exclusively through its network of authorized dealers. Any products purchased on Ebay or similar outlets will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
Duration of Warranty
Lifetime warranty: All mechanical components (housings, covers, mounts and fasteners)
2-year warranty: MiNewt Mini-USB, Sol, MiNewt, MiNewt.X2 & TriNewt headlamp, power module (excluding normal degradation of the battery cells), AC Adapter and SlickRock 900 HID bulb and ballast
1-year Warranty: Cables and connectors, electronic components, printed circuit boards & HID bulbs and ballasts
180-day warranty: Rechargeable battery packs & 2.5-Hour fast chargers
90-day warranty: Overnight chargers
60-day warranty: Halogen bulbs
Warranty Claim Requirements
To obtain warranty service, it is preferable to have your original sales receipt. Systems returned without a sales receipt will have the warranty begin on the date of manufacture. Return the defective product, freight prepaid and insured, to the address below. Contact the NiteRider customer service department to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The RMA number must be prominently displayed on the outside of your package. The product must be properly packaged to prevent damage in transit.
Out of Warranty Repair
If your lighting system is in need of repair and is out of the warranty period, send the system, with your RMA # on the outside of the package to NiteRider along with required payment (per the schedule below), your name, address, phone number and a brief description of the problem. Your system will be repaired and returned promptly.

The above bench charges are for labor only. There will be an additional cost for parts out of warranty. Return shipping charges are included. If the cost of repair is greater than the enclosed payment, NiteRider will contact you before repairs are completed.

NiteRider provides free technical support. If you experience any difficulty during the installation or use of a NiteRider product, please contact NiteRider customer service department prior to servicing your system.
