I have been using this for about 3 months now. Bought it primarily for the HR monitor. The HR works well, no complaints there, however the cadence sensor pretty much doesnt work. At first the signal would only get picked up about half the time, and after about a month, the cadence never gets displayed. Didnt really both me cos i didnt need that, but would have been annoying if i wanted it.
The actual menu is ok, few little annoyances:
1. Calorie count only works when HR monitor is being used. Other devices would give you a estimate based on weight, speed and distance.
2. no scrolling thru stats.
If you dont need HR, I would go with a cheaper alternative.

I'm an entry level biker at age 47 and just purchased this little baby. It was recommended by bicycle everything's sales team and they were spot on. It was easy to install (search for youtube video about installation) and simple to use.
It includes a heart rate monitor, temperature, cadence, speed, stop watch, and all the heart tracking features you've used on LifeFitness exercise bikes in the hotels you stay in.
The nice thing about the unit is that it helps to push you to the next level of your fitness goals - it's like having a ridding buddy with you to keep you motivated and focused.
One feature that that unit doesn't have is a scrolling option that would continuously roll through different stats. I'm not complaining here.. because you CAN see 5-7 different feedbacks, but you have to push the button to track different items. That would have been a nice feature.
Other than that, I tried the other models and was most impressed with the easy of use, ease of readability (hey, I'm 40 and don't want to take cheaters with me on my road trips), and the fact that I can download the data to my computer and keep track of my results over a period of time.
Also, this site had the best price of all their competitors and their service was par excellent. I'll be my other goodies here just because they were so helpful with my order and dealing with my limited biking knowledge.
Hope this helps - ride safe and hard!
