Tacx Antares Rollers - Indoor Cycle Trainer
You can cycle freely on these streamlined rollers and refine your coordination and technique in doing so. The heavy-duty tapered rollers ensure that it is almost impossible to ride off the machine. Very high concentration on steering is required when riding without a brace; it reinforces your sense of balance. The Antares is collapsible and measures only 80 cm when collapsed, making it easy to carry.
These tough rollers are ideal for track riders who often want to warm up just before the contest.
Special carrier bag for the Tacx Antares, finished in black. The double inner layer with a foam lining affords optimum protection. This bag offers sufficient space for items such as cycle clothing. Ideal for riders taking the Antares to the track just to have a further warm-up. The likelihood of damage is minimal.
You can ride freely on a roller and you can therefore improve your coordination and technique. When you ride without the brace you will need to concentrate. With the Support for Antares you can fasten your bicycle unto the Antares. This offers you greater security.

The Tacx Antares was my first set of rollers and of course I had concerns. Once I realized a couple of things it was easy.
1-Don't look down, look out in front of you.
2-Don't ride slow. The speed of the wheels helps keep you steady
3-Buy cages to put your feet into, at least in the begining
4-Start near a wall or in a door way
They are much better than static trainers in my opinion for a couple of reasons
1-You have to concentrate on your riding to keep your balance. This makes it more interesting and less boring.
2-While it isn't quite like road riding, it is closer than static trainers
3-I suspect my technique is improving as I ride a line better now
